Aquathon is Record Breaker!

More than 80 people competed in this year's school aquathon, completing a 400m swim and a 3km run to raise hundreds of pounds for charity.
Students from all year groups took on the challenge, along with 20 members of staff, competing either in teams of two or as individual competitors.
The event set a new school record when Sixth Former Harry Warburton ran the fastest 3km lap of the school field in a time of 10.02 minutes, beating the previous record of 10.04 set in 2009.
Harry also recorded the fastest individual time and the fastest overall time of the day, completing both parts of the aquathon in 17.5 minutes.
The fastest swimmer was Millie Cadden in Year 12 who finished her 16 lengths of the school pool in 5.08 minutes.
The fastest overall team was made up of Dylan Black and Nathaneal Larkum in Year 13 who crossed the finish line in 18.19 minutes.

Oliver Sewell and Adam Codd - Fastest KS4 team (19.33 minutes)
Oliver Goodwin and Charlie Codd - Fastest KS3 team (20.47 minutes)
Megan Blair - Fastest individual performance in KS3 (21.58 minutes)
Winners were presented with trophies and small prizes.
All proceeds from the event will be divided between Cancer Research UK and Dementia UK.
