Last night, our magnificent cast of our upcoming musical Les Misérables, were joined by Ashby Youth Theatre to deliver a truly unforgettable concert ‘Do You Hear the People Sing? – A Celebration of Les Misérables.’
From the powerful vocals, to the moving dramatic moments, every performer gave their all and the audience loved every second.
Thank you to all of our performers, everyone that worked so hard to make it happen and to all of the audience for watching.
The concert has us even more excited than ever for show week, when our full production of Les Misérables takes to the stage (28th-31st January).
If last night was anything to go by, this is a performance you won’t want to miss!
Tickets are on sale now – secure yours today!

Last night we held our annual open evening for prospective 2026 Year 7 students.
It was a fantastic opportunity for students and parents to tour our school, visit our faculty areas and facilities, and hear from our Headteacher.

Ashby School Colour Run 2025!
This was our 2nd year of doing the colour run, and the first with 3 year groups taking part. The weather was perfect for the event with over 600 students taking part. Staff and students had a brilliant end to the week, all be it a little messy.
We were raising money for the @lch_charity (Lifting Children’s Hopes), who support children to go on school trips and day trips, as well as funding hobbies for them. They have given us over £4000 of support in the last 12 months.
We were hoping to smash last years donations of £3,323, and we’re really happy to say that we raised (including Gift Aid) a huge £6,259 – we absolutely smashed last year’s amount. The CEO of LCH said ‘’I am blown away by the amazing effort of so many of your wonderful students, the school should be incredibly proud.’’.
