Welcome to Ashby School

Ashby school is an inclusive 11-18 provision that sits in the heart of our local community and prides ourself on putting students at the heart of all we do.

Our ethos statements echo this, encouraging our students to be ‘Empowered to Learn’ and to believe that ‘Anything is Possible’ through hard work and commitment. Through this ethos, we combine academic aspiration and the opportunities for our students to embrace our core values; to Show Respect, Accept Responsibility and Build Resilience to prepare them for a successful future. We want all our students to have a happy and successful learning experience and the confidence and qualifications to step into successful futures.

In one of our previous newsletters, we shared the huge successes of our students with their Sparx Maths homework. Part of this update included our 3 Secret Class winners in the Autumn Term, but we missed out the correct dates for when these happened.

Our Secret Class Winners for Autumn Term 2025 were:
101Ma1 who won the Secret Class in Week 7 (due date 15th October)
91Ma1 who won the Secret Class in Week 11 (due date 19th November)
71Ma3 who won the Secret Class in Week 13 (due date 3rd December)

We are looking forward to celebrating more Secret Class winners this half term with 6 opportunities in every year group to win. Remember, everyone has to get their Sparx Maths completed on time to 100% for the class to win.
