Careers Evening Helps Students with Next Steps
12 Nov 2021
More than 40 employers and education providers were on hand to talk to students and offer valuable advice on their next steps, at this year's careers evening.
The 'in person' event enabled students and their families to get important pointers from industry experts and education representatives on a range of courses, careers and apprenticeships.
Student ambassadors were also at the event to direct visitors and share their experiences of Ashby School Sixth Form.
Lindsay Ash, Head of Careers, said: "‘We were delighted that so many students and their families took advantage of careers evening to find out more about the opportunities on offer and to talk to employers and representatives from colleges and universities, as well as our own Sixth Form, about their next steps.
"A huge thank you to everyone who came along from local industries, organisations and education providers to meet our students and advise them on how to succeed in the course, career or apprenticeship they choose to pursue."
